ExPol
A new way to explore the political propositions
Together with the Belgian political magazine Wilfried, we have developed a tool for exploring the political proposals related to the 2019 elections.
The platform is a centralized search engine dedicated to the citizens. It enables to discover the programs of the political parties without opening scattered and heavy documents.
The tool combines NLP intelligence and smart data visualisations.
Together with the Media innovation & intelligibility lab (MiiL - UCLouvain) we daily process thousands of tweets in order to analyse the social media behaviour about current topics. The tweets come from both Belgian citizens and politicians.
Our analyses are translated into graphs and are broadcast as part of the weekly TV show "À votre avis".
The analyses are prepared together with the MiiL and the editorial team of the TV show, depending on the conduct of the debate.
